Upon graduation she began training in Myofascial Triggerpoint Therapy and how to treat Fibromyalgia with massage therapy. Tammy completed her massage therapy training at Manatee Technical Institute in Lakewood Ranch, Fl. This diagnosis inspired her to find answers about managing her condition and she has made it her mission to help others by sharing the information she has found. She was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia 14 years ago. Massage therapy has been one of the major factors in improving her own health. Once I graduated high school, my dream for an education in Massage Therapy came true as I applied to begin my training at MBI in Nashville, TN. From there, it was natural for me to intuitively work on myself and even help my parents with their aches and pains. I watched carefully and remembered what she did. I am a lifelong resident of Bowling Green, KY. In my free time I enjoy following what lights my path, spending meaningful time with my husband and working with our two German Shepherds, Murphy & Maggie I am a yogi dedicated to practicing a holistic lifestyle as well as an essential oil and crystal healing enthusiast. I have extensively studied the benefits of massage in relation to: chronic pain, anxiety, stress reduction, prenatal care, arthritic conditions, sports injuries, auto-accident related injuries, headaches & facial pain. I love to incorporate passive and active-assistive stretching during massage sessions. I have worked in both medical and spa settings over the years and am well-versed in addressing a myriad of symptoms and injuries with techniques including but not limited to: Swedish, Deep Tissue, Therapeutic, Neuromuscular & Trigger Point, Hot Stone, and Cupping. I have found that mindful movement in the form of massage and yoga are tremendous healing tools for the stories (stress, tension, injury) that our bodies carry. I am a nurturer by nature and have a passion for healing the physical and subtle body as well as a broad knowledge of human anatomy and body mechanics. I am an Arkansas native that has been calling Bowling Green home since 2013, licensed and practicing massage since 2012 in Arkansas and received licensure for Kentucky in 2014.
